Star-lit Skies
Oh star-lit skies,
Let me go,
So that I may be wise.
Into the wilderness of the black sea,
Of the howling winds.
As I take the plunge into frigid waters,
Let the scales of the luminescent creatures,
Light my way into moonlight waters.
Oh star-lit skies,
Let me go,
So that I may be wise.
Let the numbness seep in,
And the cold set in.
A journey from one realm to another,
As I swim across,
Let my feet touch the warm and dry sand.
Of a new dawn.
